The Municipal Agric Directorate lead by the Municipal Agric Director Madam Martha Armah on the 15th October, 2024 conducted a Vaccination of Dogs against Rabies at Nyaboo and Patriensa which will be extended to other communities in the municipalities as time goes on.
The Municipal Agric Director, Madam Mrtha Armah explained that Rabies is a tragic and lethal disease that can be avoided by having your dog immunized against it. Your dog is an integral component of your family, and you do not want to lose them to this virus.

She also added that the rabies vaccine is the best, most effective way we can safeguard our pets from contracting rabies. It will protect your pup, other animals, and your family from a fatal outcome. It is legally required that your dog gets their rabies vaccination and booster shots.
The beneficiary communities were very delighted for service granted them and will also convey the message to benefit others in the community.
